Kayne West makes entertainment headlines with his stupidity once again.  On Adult Swim (Wednesday) he claims that he"Ain't No Mother F*****g Celebrity" and that he is sick of paparazzi following him around, trying to take his picture.  

He made it clear that he is just a humble musician that wants to make the world a better place.

Looks Like No More Nicki Minaj For American Idol

Nicki Minaj says that she wants to work on her singing career.  She says she had fun on American Idol, but, can we really believe that after quitting after the first year?

I can't say I will be sad to see her go.  She really is not one of my favorite people in the spotlight.  I even had troubles finding a decent photo of her on Google to use for this post.  As for her musical career, I believe it to be a bit main-stream, fake and not easy to relate to.  She is a great image of where I think modern music has gone in a very wrong direction. 

Randy Jackson also has commented that he will be leaving after this season.  He also would like to try something different.  I don't blame him, he has been on there since the beginning. 

It makes me wonder what really goes on behind the scenes when no one seems to want the job as judge.

Angelina Jolie - Double Mastectomy

According to CNN Angelina Jolie recently had a double mastectomy.  After testing positive during genetic testing for having a high risk for breast cancer, Jolie made the brave decision to have a mastectomy done.  

I hope that the insurance companies start covering more advanced medicine practices like this.  I know that it would significantly improve womens chances to live longer, healthier lives.

Jolie's public message speaks volumes of bravery.  It may make more women aware of the serious danger and risk they may be facing without even knowing. 

Madonna honored the Top Grossing Tour Award

This month at the Billboard Music Awards, Madonna will be honored with the Top Grossing Tour Award.  The award is for her 2012 MDNA tour.  During this tour she performed over 80 times and in more than 70 countries.  That is incredible.  She must still have the energy and passion for her music.  

Madonna will be accepting the Top Touring Artist award at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 19th.  The tour grossed more than $305 million.  The tour included 88 sold-out shows and attracted more than two million people.

She was recently named Billboard's Top Money Maker of 2012.  She also has been honored with other awards including an award for the most top 10 singles (she had 38 at the time).

Justin Bieber may have to give up on his pet monkey-Mally

According to Yahoo! News, Justin Bieber may have given up on his pet monkey which was seized by German customs officials in March, according to the shelter looking after "Mally".

Bieber has until Friday to hand in the required paperwork to get his monkey back, which was seized at Munich airport during a concert tour.

 This cute little money in question is a capuchin monkey.  Capuchins are considered the most intelligent New World monkeys.  These cute little monkeys are often used in laboratories.  It looks like this one will end up at the zoo soon.  Currently he is being kept at a rescue shelter.  If Beiber doesn't sign the paperwork officials will release the monkey to a German zoo.  

In order to protect the monkey from unnecessary hype, they are withholding the exact location of the zoo.  

 

2013 CMT Music Awards

Taylor Swift and Hunter Hayes are scheduled to perform at the 2013 CMT Music Awards.   These two young stars will certainly be great choices for performances.

Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and the Pistol Annies are also scheduled to be on stage this year. This will be a fan-voted show aired live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena at 8 p.m. ET/PT, stay tuned for announcements of other performances.

Should be a great show! Can't wait.

Demi Lovato Has an Exciting Idea For the Britney Spears' 'X Factor' Seat

Who will it be?  I hope that it will be a famous singer.  Like Gwen, Bono, Mike Jagger.  They say that "skys" the limit.  I wasn't all that impressed with the Britney Spears option.  Someone more of a serious performer would work better.  

I guess will just have to stay tuned to find out!
